Industrial Development

Accelerating industrial development in Bihar requires a focused and comprehensive approach from the government. LSNP government would be committed to implement following key strategies and actions to foster industrial growth in Bihar and other states: 

Investment in Infrastructure: Improve the state's infrastructure, including roads, highways, ports, power supply, and water facilities. This will attract industrial investments and enhance the ease of doing business in Bihar. 

Industrial and Manufacturing Policy: Formulate and implement a favorable industrial and manufacturing policy that offers incentives, tax benefits, and simplified regulatory procedures for setting up industries in the state. 

Industrial Parks and Special Economic Zones (SEZs): Develop industrial parks and SEZs with state-of-the-art facilities and infrastructure to attract domestic and foreign investments.  

Single Window Clearance: Establish a single window clearance mechanism to streamline approvals and permits for industries. This will reduce bureaucratic delays and improve the ease of setting up and operating businesses. 

Investment Promotion and Marketing: Actively promote Bihar as an investment destination through marketing campaigns and investment summits.  

Support for MSMEs: Offer financial incentives, access to credit, and technical support to Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). These enterprises play a significant role in industrial growth and employment generation. 

Research and Development (R&D) and Innovation: Establish R&D centers and provide support for innovation to foster technological advancements and attract industries that require cutting-edge technology. 

Land Acquisition and Development: Facilitate land acquisition and ensure the availability of developed land parcels for industries. 

Public-Private Partnerships (PPPs): Collaborate with the private sector through PPPs to develop industrial infrastructure and provide necessary services. 

Policy Stability and Predictability: Provide a stable policy framework to create a predictable business environment, which fosters confidence among investors.
